How we started

Headquartered in Belgium , ALPINA was founded in 1967 as a provider of foodservice machinery.

We first pioneered the high-end, professional high quality chicken rotisseries, and the ALPINA rotisseries became well known in Belgium and abroad.

Next we focused our innovative thinking on adding a large range of - commercial-quality, outdoor gas barbecues. ALPINA soon emerged as the leading provider of professional rotisseries and gasbarbecues, all over Europe.

Leveraging our expertise in barbecues and rotisseries for the professionals, ALPINA entered the commercial cooking market with high-performance, heavy-duty grills, ovens, fryers etc.. for the foodservice industry besides the increased range of chicken rotisseries.

"ALPINA" is now a strong registered trademark, well known by all professionals in the foodindustry.

In 2005, we added high-end, design gas-fired, mobile cooking units, to complement the barbecue products for the hotel-, restaurant- and catering business.

Today, we expanded the full range of mobile cooking units with a mobile cocktail bar, a mobile wine cellar, karts and patio heaters, so completing the style.

We try to become number one on the market with innovative products that are unmatched in the professional catering industry.
